Army Institute Of Management & Technology (AIMT) is a premium MBA Institute in Greater Noida (NCR) near Delhi. Established by the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) in 2004 in the hi-tech city of Greater Noida.

AWES has so far established 130 Army Schools and 12 professional colleges. Designed to capture the increasing needs of industry for Management and Computer Application professionals for the benefit of the wards of Army personnel, a sprawling new campus of the Institute was constructed over an area of 15.34 acres 41kms from Delhi.

AIMT, Greater Noida has been established to conduct MBA program in a fully residential campus. The first batch of students joined the institute in Aug 2004. The institute is affiliated to the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIP), Delhi. The campus can accommodate nearly 500 students at its peak capacity. The institute is set to become one of the premiere professional colleges of the country. The college has witnessed 100% placements with average package of 4.5 lacs.

Equipped with all modern learning tools and facilities,the fraternity aims to provide top class management and education to the students. The college has tiered seating with AC lecture halls for better visibility. Also the campus encloses a residential complex to house all its teaching and non teaching staff.

The admission to the MBA programme at AIMT Greater NOIDA is exclusively open for the dependent wards of serving or retired Army personnel. The dependent children of following category of Army personnel are eligible:

  • Serving or retired Army personnel in receipt of regular pension or SS officers who have served Army for 10 years. (Submit Certificate No 1 as per GGSIP University format)

  • Army personnel killed in action or those who died during their service or disabled in action in Army (Submit Certificate No 2). AMC or ADC officers presently serving with Navy or Air Force who have served Army for more than 10 years and who are members of AOBF. (Submit Certificate No 3 as per GGSIP University format)

  • MNS Officers who have served Army for a minimum 10 years as regular MNS, APS personnel who are on deputation and have put in more than 10 years of service in Army or who have been directly recruited, commissioned in APS and have retired after completing their minimum service qualifying for pension; TA personnel who have completed 10 years of embodied service. (Submit Certificate No 4 as per GGSIP University format)

  • Adopted wards of Army personnel provided they have been adopted at least five years before admission. (Submit Certificate No 5 as per GGSIP University format)

  • Dependant sons or daughters of widows of Army personnel who were born of their mothers first marriage and their mother has later remarried a civilian.  (Submit Certificate No 6 as per GGSIP University format)

  • Step children of Army personnel who were born out of the wedlock where at least one parent belonged to Army. (Submit Certificate No 7 as per GGSIP University fomat)
Candidates applying to the MBA programme at AIMT should meet any one of the following criteria:

  • Any recognized 3 years or more Bachelors Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% in aggregate, OR
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or Technology or any other subject with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or any qualification recognized as equivalent thereto with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate, OR
  • Passed the final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or England, the Institute of Cost and works Accountants of India or England or the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
Admissions Criteria:

  • All admissions shall be made on the basis of the merit of Common Admission Test (CAT) 2021 that was conducted by Indian Institute of Management followed by CMAT 2022(another National Level Test) on the basis of normalization of their scores.
  • The University may conduct its own CET for admissions, but shall be utilizing the merit of CET 2022 only if the seats are left vacant after finishing CAT2021 followed by CMAT 2022 merit list.

  • Last date for receipt of completed AIMT Online MBA Form: June 30, 2022.
  • Last date for receipt of completed AIMT Online BBA Form: May 31, 2022.
  • Final List of admitted candidates: As per GGSIP University.
